Tinubu presides over first FEC in 2024
President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday presided over the first Federal Executive Council meeting for the year 2024.
President Tinubu arrived at the council chambers at 1 p.m and the meeting was also attended by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume and other ministers.
Also at the meeting Desmond Akawor was sworn in as a federal commissioner of the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) by President Tinubu.
In November 2023, Tinubu appointed Akawor as the federal commissioner of RMAFC following the death of Asondu Temple, the immediate past commissioner of the agency.
