President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Abuja following a two-day state visit to Qatar.
The President arrived at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport around 7 p.m. on Monday and was welcomed by Vice President Kashim Shettima and the Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila.
Others who welcomed the President include the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Abdullahi Ganduje, and Director-General of the Department of State Services, Yusuf Bichi, among others.
During his first day in Qatar, the Nigerian leader underlined the value of precise documentation of a country’s history, cultural development, and difficulties while touring the National Museum.
Westernpost reported on Sunday how President Tinubu assured Qatari investors about his administration’s commitment towards ensuring a smooth investment from the oil rich nation.
He also assured the international business community that Nigeria is ready for serious business as his administration will deal decisively with any and all entrenched interests in the country who undermine investor confidence in the Nigerian economy, pledging to remove all bottlenecks standing in the way of profitable and legitimate enterprise.
Tinubu had jetted to the Gulf nation after his visit to Lagos, the commercial nerve of Nigeria to inaugurate the red rail line, an intra-state rail service aimed at improving transportation within the city of Lagos.
