Tinubu swears in two new RMAFC commissioners ahead of FEC meeting

President Bola Tinubu on Monday swore in two new Federal Commissioners of the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), following their confirmation by the National Assembly.

The swearing-in ceremony was held at the Council Chamber of the State House in Abuja shortly before the commencement of the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting presided over by the President.

The newly inaugurated commissioners, Amina Ibrahim Gamawa, representing Bauchi State, and Abdullahi Mukhtar, representing Kaduna State, took the Oath of Office, officially assuming their responsibilities as Federal Commissioners of the RMAFC.

The ceremony was part of activities preceding the FEC meeting. According to the agenda announced by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and Chairman of the Council, George Akume, the meeting also featured the swearing-in of newly appointed Federal Commissioners of the National Population Commission (NPC).

Those in attendance included Vice President Kashim Shettima, Chief of Staff to the President Femi Gbajabiamila, Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume, Head of the Civil Service of the Federation Didi Esther Walson-Jack, members of the Federal Executive Council, and former Kaduna Central Senator Shehu Sani.
