Toni Braxton gets 60% royalty from my song ‘Last Last’ – Burna Boy

Nigeria’s Grammy-award winning Afrofusion singer, Burna Boy has revealed that American R&B singerToni Braxton, will get 60 per cent dividend from his latest single ‘Last Last.”
The musician was speaking during his feature on The Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast.
Burna Boy said it has always been his idea to sample Braxton’s 2000 R&B hit, ‘He Wasn’t Man Enough’.
He said he eventually got music producer Chopsticks to make it happen.
The ‘African Giant’ crooner also described the production of ‘Last Last’ as the “most special creative process ever” for him while writing on his social media page.
“It was actually my idea, to be honest. I just always wanted to use that sample and I knew Chopstix could do something crazy with it. I just pointed that sh*t out and he took it from there. That’s one of the most special creative processes ever,” he said in the video clip shared on his page.
“But she is taking 60 percent of it. I’m not complaining. Hopefully, she even comes out to one of the shows”.
“Last Last” has enjoyed massive reception among music lovers since its release. It is the first song off Burna Boy’s forthcoming album titled ‘Love, Damini”.
Additionally, Burna Boy said his sixth studio album — a 16-track project — will be released on July 8.
