Two AAUA students reported missing, community on edge

The Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA), in Ondo State has been thrown into anxiety following the mysterious disappearance of two second-year students.
The missing students, identified as Andrel Eloho Okah of the Department of History and International Studies, Faculty of Arts, and John Friday Abba of the Department of Economics, were last seen over two weeks ago. Both students are known to be close friends.
Reports indicate that all efforts by fellow students, friends, and relatives to reach them have been unsuccessful, as their mobile lines have remained unreachable since their disappearance.
A student of the institution, who identified himself as Ajibola, said the prolonged silence and lack of traceable contact has left the campus community deeply unsettled.
“It’s been more than two weeks now. We’ve tried their phones, contacted their roommates and friends, but no one has any clue about their whereabouts,” he said.
As of the time of filing this report, the university management has not released an official statement regarding the incident.
Also, attempts to reach the Ondo State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Olayinka Ayanlade, were unsuccessful, as calls to his phone went unanswered.
