UCL semi: Six-goal thriller as Barca, Inter draw first leg

Barcelona and Inter Milan have it all to play for in the return leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final, after a pulsating 3-3 draw in the first leg.

It was a night of goals at Camp Nou as the Italian side silenced the passionate Barca crowd, pushing their hosts to the limit.

Inter took the lead in the first minute through Marcus Thuram and doubled their advantage in the 21st minute with a spectacular overhead kick from Denzel Dumfries.

Barca responded just three minutes later, with Lamine Yamal’s dazzling solo effort reducing the deficit.

The hosts drew level in the 38th minute when Ferran Torres finished off a fine move to make it 2-2 by halftime.

Inter regained the lead in the 65th minute, with Dumfries grabbing his second of the night.

However, the advantage lasted just two minutes before Raphinha, with help from a deflection off Inter’s goalkeeper Yann Sommer, brought Barca level again. Inter later had what could have been a fourth goal ruled out for offside.

Despite both sides’ spirited efforts, neither could find a winner, setting the stage for a fiercely contested second leg.
