Uzodimma commends progress in conversion of Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education for degree programs

Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, has expressed satisfaction with the ongoing conversion process of Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education (AIFUE).

Uzodinma said this during a visit by a delegation from the Federal Ministry of Education.

The delegation was conducting a resource and facility inspection to assess the university’s preparedness for offering degree programs.

Governor Uzodimma said: “While playing host to a delegation from the Federal Ministry of Education, who came on resource and facility inspection on the readiness of Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education (AIFUE) for degree programmes, I expressed satisfaction at the pace of the conversion process.

“The Federal Government’s magnanimity in converting the institution to her current status as a Federal University of Education, is a gesture so dear to ndi Imo and we will support all relevant agencies in the education sector for the smooth commencement of degree programmes in the institution.”
