Uzodinma assures of cooperation with Imo State House of Assembly

Imo State Governor, Hops Uzodinma has promised to partner with the State House of Assembly to deliver good governance to the people.
The Governor made the pledge on Friday when the leadership of the recently inaugurated Assembly led by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Chike Olemgbe paid a courtesy visit to him at the Government House, Owerri.
Uzodinma noted that his administration has built synergy with other arms of government in the state to make life better for the people.
The Governor said:
“I am delighted to have received, yesterday, Rt. Hon. Chike Olemgbe and Rt. Hon. Amara Iwuanyanwu as I congratulate them on their election as the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly (IMHA).
“The successful inauguration of the State’s 10th Assembly, which comprises men of goodwill with burning desires to serve, is a welcome development. The choice of leadership by members of the House, is the beginning of a united House and I encourage the legislators as they render selfless service to their constituency and the State at large.
“One of my creeds has been to promote and proliferate healthy relationships amongst the three Arms of Government for a robustful governance to our people. The same synergy, and more, extended to the 9th Assembly shall be accorded to the 10th Assembly as they discharge their legislative duties. Congratulations once more and I wish you all productive legislation.”
