Vice President Shettima arrives Borno for Eid al-Adha celebration

Vice President Kashim Shettima on Tuesday arrived in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, to participate in the Eid al-Adha celebrations.

The Vice President, who returned to his home state ahead of the festivities, also conveyed his heartfelt wishes and blessings to Nigerians observing the Muslim festival across the country.

Eid al-Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, is one of the most significant celebrations in the Islamic calendar and is marked by prayers, charity and gatherings with family and loved ones.
