‘Victory is certain in 2026’ – Ekiti ADC candidate tells supporters

By Boye Oyeyemi –
The African Democratic Congress governorship candidate in Ekiti State, Ambassador Dare Bejide, has reassured party supporters that the ADC is firmly on course for victory in the 2026 election.
Bejide gave the assurance after receiving a warm reception at the party secretariat in Ado Ekiti, following his return from Abuja.
Addressing supporters, he said the gathering was not a campaign outing but a moment to appreciate God for the party’s progress.
He urged members to stay united despite the recent tension at the secretariat, describing the incident as a temporary setback.
“This is a positive beginning towards 2026. The ticket is in God’s hands — no power comes except from Him,” he said.
Speakers at the gathering encouraged members to remain committed, stressing that the party was addressing internal issues and repositioning for a stronger outing in the coming poll.
Bejide later described the attack on the party office as politically driven, adding that the matter had been reported in Abuja.
He linked Nigeria’s insecurity and unemployment challenges to leadership failures and said the ADC would prioritise skills acquisition and agriculture to tackle them.
