VP Shettima pays condolence visit to Pauline Tallen over son’s demise

…extends President Tinubu’s sympathies

Vice President Kashim Shettima has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Richard Adamu Tallen, the son of former Minister of Women Affairs, Pauline Tallen.
Richard Tallen, who passed away in Abuja over the weekend, is survived by his wife and three children.
During a condolence visit to the Tallen family in Abuja on Monday, Vice President Shettima described the loss as both shocking and heartbreaking.
Accompanied by the Deputy Chief of Staff to the President, Senator Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia, Shettima conveyed condolences on behalf of President Bola Tinubu.
The Vice President acknowledged the deceased’s bright future and contributions to Nigeria’s development, saying, “I learned of the passing of the former Minister’s son with shock. He had such a bright future and was contributing to Nigeria’s development.”
Addressing the grieving family, the Vice President noted that the loss is something no parent would wish for their child.
He said: “I can only imagine the pain the family is going through right now. On behalf of my principal, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, I extend our deepest condolences. May God grant you the strength to endure this pain and the fortitude to bear this loss.
“May you be comforted, and may his young family find solace, knowing that God is the giver and taker of life, as we all live by His will. May his soul rest in perfect peace.”
