We have zero tolerance for anti-party activities — Ondo ADC

By Boye Oyeyemi –

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has said it has zero tolerance for anti-party activities, warning that any member found culpable will be expelled.

The chairman of the ADC in Ondo State, Mr Wole Ademoyegun, stated this on Monday in Akure at the inauguration of new executive members of the party in Akure South Local Government Area of the state.

Ademoyegun explained that there was information suggesting that moles had infiltrated the party in an attempt to truncate its mission of taking leadership at both the state and national levels.

“There is zero tolerance for anti-party activities in the ADC, and any member caught will be dealt with and expelled. We have information that the ruling party has planted some moles among us, but we know how to deal with them,” he said.

He urged party members not to entertain fear, calling on the newly inaugurated executive members to work harder and not relent. He added that fear and inferiority complex should be shunned, noting that the party would soon commence the registration of new members in the coming weeks.

Also speaking, a party elder, Dr Samuel Omomo, disclosed that the operations of the ADC were different from those of other parties because of its selfless stance. He added that the party was strategically positioned to unseat the ruling party in subsequent elections in the country.

In his remarks, the newly inaugurated chairman of the ADC in the local government, Mr Abiodun Adeyemi, appreciated the leadership and members of the party for the confidence reposed in him and other executive members. He promised that the new executives would work hard to take the party to an enviable height.

Some of the other inaugurated local government executive members are Mr Tunji Osalade (Deputy Chairman), Mr Oluwatobi Adaramoye (Vice Chairman I), Mr Gabriel Oluwajuyilemi (Vice Chairman II), and Mr Anthony Bejide (Secretary).
