Why we passed vote of confidence in Governor Otti- Abia LP Chairman

The Chairman of Labour Party (LP) in Abia State, Emmanuel Nweze Otti, has explained why the State Chapter passed vote of confidence in Governor Alex Otti.

WESTERN POST reports that Abia LP held an enlarged stakeholder meeting where the party passed a vote of confidence in Governor Otti.

The Abia LP Chairman stated that Governor Otti has performed well beyond expectations, stating that the governor had not been giving appointment to non-party faithful.

At the stakeholders meeting with the party’s State Working Committee, the LP Chairman added that Governor Otti has done well, describing him as “a governor of infrastructure.”

He flayed social media reports and “social media politicians” who go about with rumours against the governor, urging the party stakeholders not to segregate those returning from the other camp.

The Abia LP Chairman urged the stakeholders to uphold the tenets of democratic legacies of the state governor, adding that in the national constitution, there is nothing like a shadow government.

He stated that the formation of a shadow government is geared towards redirecting Governor Otti and making him join issues with people.
