Wike says friends bought his PDP presidential form

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, says his friends bought his N35m Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) 2023 presidential nomination form for him.

Wike said this in a post on his Facebook page which accompanied a video where he was presented the nomination form.

“Today, I accepted the nomination form bought by my friends for me to run for President under the PDP.

“I am undertaking this task with the clear realisation that Nigeria has problems that would be difficult to solve. However, I am confident that with commitment and passion, our problems are surmountable,” Wike wrote.

The event had in attendance, Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde and former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose.
