WWE confirms Hulk Hogan’s death at 71

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has officially confirmed the death of wrestling legend Hulk Hogan. The iconic WWE Hall of Famer died on Thursday morning at the age of 71.

Hogan, whose real name was Terry Gene Bollea, passed away at his home in Clearwater, Florida. Emergency services responded to a report of cardiac arrest, with police and paramedics seen outside the residence. According to TMZ, Hogan was taken from his home on a stretcher and placed in an ambulance.

In an official statement, WWE said:

“WWE is saddened to learn that WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has passed away. One of pop culture’s most recognisable figures, Hogan helped WWE achieve global recognition in the 1980s.”

Hogan was a global superstar, famous for his charisma, showmanship, and unforgettable moments in the ring. He headlined numerous WrestleMania events, including his legendary match against André the Giant in 1987.

While the exact cause of death has not yet been made public, tributes are pouring in from fans and fellow wrestlers around the world, honouring a man widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential figures in professional wrestling history.
