Yuletide: Ambode Support Group urges Nigerians to pray for prosperous nation
A group promoting the former Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Akinwumi Ambode, Ambode Support Group (ASG) has congratulated the Christian community on Christmas celebration, urging the people to pray for a prosperous Nigeria as well as embrace unity and love, being the hallmark of the celebration.
The support group gave this charge in a release signed by the Director of Media, Toyin Oyekan, just as it extended warm greetings to all its dedicated members, supporters, and well-wishers, saying Christmas is a time for reflection, gratitude and unity.
The group posited that the festive season reminds the people of the importance of peace and harmony, urging “all members to continue promoting unity, love, and cooperation, as these values are the foundation for a prosperous future.”
“Let us embrace the season with open hearts and minds, always remembering the need to work together for the common good.
“We also take this opportunity to pray for His Excellency Akinwunmi Ambode, the leader we deeply admire and support.
We pray for his good health, strength, and divine guidance as he continues to inspire and lead. May he be blessed with the wisdom and resilience needed to navigate the challenges ahead,” the support group prayed.
The support, however, expressed its readiness to work tirelessly to ensure that former Governor Ambode triumphantly return, come 2027.
He added,”We are committed to spreading the message of his achievements, vision, and potential for continued service to our community and the state.”
“We will go from house to house, speaking to our fellow citizens, sharing the story of his past successes, and convincing them of the bright future he offers.
“Together, we can make his comeback a reality. With each step, each conversation, and each action, we move closer to seeing Akinwunmi Ambode back at the helm, leading us toward greater progress and development,” the group said.
