2027: ASNAT pledges nationwide mobilisation for Tinubu’s re-election

The Association of Nigerian Artisans and Technicians (ASNAT), the umbrella body for artisans, technicians and skilled workers across Nigeria, has congratulated the All Progressives Congress (APC) on inaugurating its 2027 Presidential Campaign Council (PCC).
The APC inaugurated the council on Wednesday at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, bringing together President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, APC governors, members of the party’s National Working Committee, serving and former lawmakers, ministers and other political leaders.
In a statement issued by its Head of New Media, Abdulkadir Salihu, ASNAT congratulated the council’s newly appointed Director-General, Senator Abdulaziz Yari, describing his appointment as a welcome development.
The association described Yari as a tested and trusted mobiliser, grassroots politician and bridge-builder whose experience as a former governor and senator would help secure victory for President Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.
ASNAT pledged its unalloyed loyalty to the council and assured Yari of its full support at all levels.
“Our structures in all 774 local government areas are fully on ground as foot soldiers to deliver Operation 30:30 for the party,” the association said.
ASNAT also commended Tinubu and Yari for appointing its patron, Rt. Hon. Sanusi Rikiji, as Director of the Directorate of Artisans’ Mobilisation.
According to the association, the appointment demonstrates the administration’s commitment to giving Nigerian artisans and technicians greater recognition, representation and opportunities.
“This appointment is a clear testament that President Tinubu’s second term will give Nigerian artisans and technicians a better deal, voice and opportunity in the scheme of things,” ASNAT said.
The association prayed for the success of Tinubu, Yari and the campaign council, expressing confidence that its members would contribute significantly to the APC’s victory in the 2027 general elections.
