Abiru congratulates Hamzat at 60

The Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District, Sen. Tokunbo Abiru, on Thursday, congratulated the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr Obafemi Hamzat on his 60th birthday. 

Abiru, in a statement he personally signed, said the life journey of Hamzat has been one of exemplary service, resilience and unwavering commitment to the growth and development of Lagos and Nigeria as a whole.

“As we celebrate this special day, we reflect on your decades of selfless dedication to public service, innovation, and leadership. Your profound impact on governance, public infrastructure, and Science and Technology, set you apart as a man who deeply invested in the progress of Lagos State, and its citizens.

“From your early days in public service as the Honourable Commissioner of Science and Technology, to your current role as Deputy Governor of our dear State, you have consistently shown passion for excellence, which has inspired many.

“On this 60th milestone, we join your family, Lagoisans, leaders of our great party, the All Progressives Congress, APC in Lagos State, particularly distinguished members of the prestigious Governance Advisory Council, GAC and numerous well wishers in celebrating this landmark birthday with you.
