APC debunks report on withdrawal of 2027 campaign council list
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has denied reports that it withdrew its list of members of the 2027 presidential campaign council.
Felix Morka, the party’s national publicity secretary, dismissed the reports as rumours in an interview with TheCable on Tuesday morning.
Morka said the party had not withdrawn the list, adding that any changes to the composition of the council would be formally announced by the APC.
The clarification followed reports suggesting that the ruling party had reversed or withdrawn its earlier list ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
Morka urged the public to disregard the reports, stressing that the party would communicate officially whenever there were changes to the campaign council.
