Barcelona rally to thrash Galatasaray 4-1 in Istanbul

Anthony Gordon scored his first Champions League goal for Barcelona as the Spanish giants came from behind to beat Galatasaray 4-1 in Istanbul.
Galatasaray took the lead when Rafael Leao’s cutback deflected off Joao Cancelo and into the bottom corner. Baris Alper Yilmaz then had a goal ruled out for offside after a VAR review.
Barcelona equalised before half-time through Cancelo, who curled a superb finish past Ugurcan Cakir. Fermin Lopez headed in Lamine Yamal’s cross five minutes after the restart, before Yamal set up Gordon to make it 3-1. Karim Adeyemi completed the scoring after Gabriel Jesus redirected another Yamal cross into his path.
The victory gives Barcelona six points from two league-phase matches following their 5-1 win over Feyenoord.
They travel to face Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday, October 20, while Galatasaray host Lille on Wednesday, October 21.
