BREAKING: Aiyedatiwa names Akure event centre after Mimiko

Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has renamed the International Centre for Culture and Events, popularly known as The Dome, in Akure, after his predecessor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko.
The announcement was contained in a statement issued on Saturday by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, following the renaming announcement at a birthday celebration held in honour of Mimiko in Abuja.
The facility will henceforth be known as the Dr. Olusegun Mimiko International Centre for Culture and Events.
Mimiko, who governed Ondo State between 2009 and 2017, constructed the centre during his administration.
