Chukwueze marks EPL return with goal for Fulham

Super Eagles star Samuel Chukwueze was back at his best, scoring Fulham’s equaliser in the 2-1 win against Brighton.
Chukwueze’s equaliser in the 72nd minute was beautifully taken. Joachim Andersen sent a perfectly weighted, raking ball down the right that sailed over the head of Olivier Boscagli.
The AC Milan loanee raced behind the defender, took a single touch to control the ball and applied a simple finish across Bart Verbruggen into the corner.
The winger, who alongside his Super Eagles teammates Calvin Bassey and Alex Iwobi missed out on Premier League action for almost a month, returned to the blistering form he showed before the AFCON in Morocco.
Yasin Ayari shocked the fans at Craven Cottage with the opening goal for the visitors in the 26th minute. Ayari utilised Olivier Boscagli’s assist to put Brighton ahead, ending the first half 1-0 up.
Chukwueze, however, scored again in the 74th minute off a pass from Joachim Andersen before Harry Wilson ensured Fulham secured the maximum points two minutes into added time.
