Court adjourns EFCC vs Oba Otudeko, others trial over defendants’ absence

The Federal High Court on Monday adjourned the case between Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) vs Oba Otudeko and other defendants due to the non-appearance of the defendants in court.
Their non-appearance was a result of EFCC’s inability to serve the charges on the defendants. The trial, however, was adjourned to February 13 for further trial.
The EFCC claimed that they were unable to serve the defendants with charges preferred against them. Meanwhile, the Commission therefore, served their lawyers in court with charges today and as such, the court adjourned the trial to Feb 13 for proper trial
