DSS grills suspended EFCC boss Bawa
The Department of State Services (DSS) has confirmed that it has invited the suspended Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abdulrashed Bawa.
The DSS in a statement by its Public Relations Officer, Peter Afunanya, said Bawa had already honoured the invitation in connection with “investigative activities concerning him”.
“The Department of State Services (DSS) has invited Mr Abdulrasheed Bawa, the suspended Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Bawa arrived a few hours ago.
“The invitation relates to some investigative activities concerning him,” the statement read.
The Director, Information, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Willie Bassey, had in a statement on Wednesday, announced Bawa’s indefinite suspension by President Bola Tinubu.
