First Lady’s Renewed Hope Initiative collaborates with NADFUND to empower women in agriculture

The Renewed Hope Initiative of the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu is set to embark on a groundbreaking collaboration with the National Agricultural Development Fund (NADFUND).
According to a statement by the media aide to the first lady, Busola Kukoyi, the partnership aims to bolster capacity building, provide essential implements and inputs, and offer expert guidance in the agricultural domain.
In a meeting held at the State House, Abuja, the management of NADFUND, led by Executive Secretary, Dr. Garzali Mohammed, conveyed their readiness to join forces with the First Lady to support the Renewed Hope Initiative’s endeavors in empowering women within the agricultural sector.
Senator Tinubu, expressing her enthusiasm for the collaboration, emphasized that the initiative aspires to revolutionize the agricultural landscape by empowering women across the six geopolitical zones of the country.
The program aims to enhance women’s participation in agriculture, providing them with the necessary skills and resources to drive positive change in the sector.
During the meeting, Senator Tinubu assured NADFUND of her unwavering support in various capacities and pledged to share her wealth of experience to foster the success of the collaboration.
The National Agriculture Development Fund, established over a year ago, is entrusted with the crucial responsibility of bolstering capacity in the agricultural sector, establishing market access for agricultural produce, and promoting financial inclusion.
