Funke Akindele, Wunmi Toriola, Toyin Abraham lead list of highest-grossing actresses of 2024

Nollywood actresses Funke Akindele, Wunmi Toriola, and Toyin Abraham have emerged as the highest-grossing lead actresses of 2024.

The announcement was made by FilmOne.

Akindele topped the list as the highest-grossing lead actress for her film Everybody Loves Jenifa, while Wunmi Toriola came second for Queen Lateefah. Toyin Abraham secured the third spot with her movie Alakada: Bad and Boujee.

Tomike Adeoye ranked fourth for her role in Ajosepo, while Eniola Ajao placed fifth for Beast of Two Worlds: Ajakaju.

Kehinde Bankole took the sixth spot for Funmilayo Ransome Kuti, while Adunni Ade ranked seventh for Lakatabu.

Uche Nwaefuna secured the eighth position for her roles in three different movies—Thinline, Silent Intruder, and The Betrayed.

Regina Daniels ranked ninth, while Gbugbemi Ejeye rounded out the top ten for her role in Farmer’s Bride.
