Governor Makinde mourns ex-president Muhammadu Buhari

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has extended his heartfelt condolences to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari.

In a statement issued on Sunday, Governor Makinde sympathized with the late president’s widow, Hajiya Aisha Buhari, and the entire Buhari family, praying for the peaceful repose of the deceased’s soul.

Describing Buhari’s death as unexpected, Makinde noted that the former military Head of State and civilian president made significant contributions to the service of Nigeria during his lifetime.

He prayed for strength and comfort for the bereaved family and asked God to grant Buhari Aljanat Firdaus.
