Governor Uba Sani receives three Kaduna federal lawmakers into APC fold

Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, on Monday formally welcomed three members of the House of Representatives from Kaduna State who have defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The lawmakers — Hon. Abdulkareem Ahmed (Kaduna South), Hon. Aliyu Abdullahi (Ikara/Kubau), and Hon. Sadiq Ango Abdullahi (Sabon Gari) — announced their defection at the Green Chamber of the National Assembly in Abuja.
Governor Sani, in a statement issued on Monday, described their decision as a “profound recognition of the inclusive, people-centered governance” being pursued by his administration in Kaduna State.
He added that their move also demonstrated confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which he said continues to inspire transformative leadership across Nigeria.
The governor expressed delight over their defection and assured the new APC members of full support as they integrate into what he called the party’s “progressive family.”
“On behalf of the APC’s leadership and membership, I extend a heartfelt welcome to our new members. We pledge our unwavering support as they seamlessly integrate into our progressive family,” Sani said.
He also commended party members in Kaduna for their steadfastness and loyalty, urging them to remain united and focused on advancing development and prosperity in the state.
“Together, we are building a brighter future,” the governor affirmed.
