Harmony key to Oyo’s progress – Governor Makinde

Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, has attributed the progress made in the state to harmony among its people.
Makinde made the remark on Monday when he received a delegation of Muslim leaders led by the Deputy Governor, Abdulraheem Adebayo Lawal.
The meeting, held as part of the Eid-el-Fitr celebrations, was a reception to mark the Muslim festival.
During the meeting, Makinde said, “As I mentioned in my remarks, the progress we have made in Oyo State since assuming office in 2019 is due to the harmony in which we live.”
The governor urged all residents of the state to continue living peacefully with one another, regardless of their differences.
He also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to delivering good governance to the people of Oyo State.
