How filmmaker demanded sex for movie role — Actress Oseremen

Rising Nollywood star, Oseremen Inegbenebor, has opened up about a disturbing encounter with a popular filmmaker who allegedly harassed her in exchange for a movie role.

The Baby Farm actress shared her experience during an interview on Nollywood on Radio, which aired live on Wednesday, April 23.

Oseremen recounted how she was contacted via social media by the filmmaker, who invited her for an audition. Excited about the opportunity, she arrived at a well-organized office, which initially gave her confidence in the filmmaker’s professionalism.

“I was happy and thought he was serious about the work,” she said. “He gave me a script and asked me to read for a role. Then he interrupted, saying he wasn’t feeling my performance and suggested we act the scene together.”

According to her, the filmmaker then made inappropriate comments, telling her she wasn’t a good actress because she didn’t “make him get a hard-on.” Shocked and disappointed, she said he went on to promise her fame and recognition in Nollywood if she gave in to his advances.

“I declined and walked out of his office,” she stated firmly.

Oseremen, a passionate sports enthusiast and actress, continues to make her mark in the industry with roles in top-rated Nollywood productions.
