JUST IN: ‘Okada rider’ killed, dumped in deep well

Residents of Ore in the Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State were thrown into panic after the body of a motorcyclist, identified as Isah Ibrahim, was discovered inside a well behind the stadium along Okitipupa Road.

It was learnt that the deceased was attacked by yet-to-be-identified assailants, who also made away with his red Bajaj motorcycle.

The victim’s body was later found dumped in the well, sparking tension across the community.

According to eyewitness accounts, the attackers killed him and disposed of his body in the well.

“The incident occurred after the motorcyclist carried a passenger to the area.

“The assailants allegedly killed him and threw his body into the well. The motive behind the attack is yet to be ascertained, but it is suspected to be a case of motorcycle snatching, which has been on the rise in the area,” the source narrated.

A security operative in the area confirmed the incident and disclosed that an investigation had commenced to track down those behind the killing.
