JUST IN: Prime suspect in Ondo Varsity students’ murder dies

By Boye Oyeyemi –
Femi Oladele, popularly known as Tallex, who was the main suspect in the killing of two students from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko (AAUA), has reportedly died under mysterious circumstances not long after admitting to the crime.
Oladele, who is the landlord of the victims Andrew Eloho Okah and John Friday Abba, was apprehended by operatives of the Ondo State Police Command Akungba.
Police investigations revealed that Oladele allegedly masterminded the gruesome murder of the students by directing a cult group to attack them, supposedly over a disagreement involving disrespect.
A source close to the case disclosed that he became sick immediately after confessing to the crime and later passed away in the hospital while receiving medical attention under police custody.
The Ondo State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Olayinka Ayanlade, confirmed his death, noting that he had been under constant medical care since his arrest and died in the early hours of the day.
“Yes, he is dead. He had been receiving treatment and was in and out of the hospital. He passed away yesterday, Ayanlade stated.
“We have recovered the decomposing body of Okah, but Abba’s remains are still missing.”
Ayanlade assured that justice will be served on the matter, urging the public to disregard any false narratives surrounding the case.
