JUST IN: Tinubu Re-elected as ECOWAS Chairman

President Bola Tinubu has been reelected as the Chairman of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of States and Government.

The Nigerian leader who rose to power in May 2023 was re-elected as the ECOWAS chairman during the 65th Ordinary Session of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government in Abuja on Sunday.

Tinubu was chosen in a unanimous vote by fellow heads of state.

As Chairman of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of States and Government, President Bola Tinubu’s re-election is for another year.
