Makinde sympathises with Yinka Ayefele, Fresh FM over fire damage

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, on Saturday visited Fresh FM Ibadan to commiserate with the station’s founder, Dr. Yinka Ayefele, following a fire outbreak that affected parts of the media outfit.

Governor Makinde described Fresh FM as a resilient brand that has continued to add immense value to broadcasting in Oyo State and across Nigeria.

He encouraged the management and staff not to be discouraged by the incident, assuring them of government support as they recover.

“Fresh FM is a household name in Oyo State and beyond, and I want to commend Dr. Ayefele and his team for their resilience and contribution to the growth of broadcasting in Nigeria,” the governor said during the visit.

In his response, Dr. Ayefele expressed gratitude to the governor for the show of solidarity and assured that normal operations at the station would continue despite the setback.
