Minister applauds Abuja-based technology at EIB group

The Minister of State for Regional Development, Uba Maigari Ahmadu, has praised the technological innovation and operational capacity of the EIB Group following a visit to the organisation’s high-security facility in Abuja.

Ahmadu expressed admiration for the company’s technology-driven operations, describing the organisation as a significant contributor to innovation, youth empowerment and national development in Nigeria.

The minister made the remarks after an extensive guided tour of the facility, where he was exposed to several operational units and the company’s growing technology ecosystem.

According to him, the scale of infrastructure and the precision of operations at the complex demonstrate the ingenuity of Nigerian professionals working in the technology sector.

Ahmadu also commended the leadership of the Chairman of the EIB Group, Bright Echefu, noting that the company’s investments in indigenous technology and security infrastructure have attracted attention from government institutions and security stakeholders.

During the visit, the minister observed live demonstrations of high-tech devices used by the organisation, giving him insight into how the technologies support its operations across sectors such as security, healthcare, media and information technology.

Officials of the EIB Group who conducted the tour also highlighted the organisation’s internal operational framework and its role in supporting government initiatives through innovation-driven platforms.

The minister said the facility also serves as a hub for young Nigerian professionals contributing to emerging global technological trends.
