Nigeria, Turkey deepen economic cooperation as Finance Minister meets Turkish Ambassador

Nigeria and Turkey have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening economic ties following a high-level meeting between the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun, and the Turkish Ambassador to Nigeria, H.E. Hidayet Bayraktar, in Abuja.

The meeting, held at the Federal Ministry of Finance, focused on enhancing trade and investment opportunities between both nations. Minister Edun emphasized President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s dedication to sustainable economic growth under the Renewed Hope Agenda, assuring the Turkish delegation of Nigeria’s unwavering support for foreign businesses.
