Nigerian pastor Jerry Eze led thousands of worshippers in prayer at Manchester United’s Old Trafford stadium on Saturday during the NSPPD UK Prayer Conference.
The free event, organised by Streams of Joy International, attracted worshippers from across the United Kingdom and beyond, with the 74,000-capacity stadium transformed into a prayer and worship venue.
The conference featured prayers, worship and fellowship, with attendees filling the iconic stadium. Registration was required because of limited spaces, while demand reportedly exceeded availability before registration closed.
Many prospective attendees turned to social media platforms, particularly TikTok, to search for spare tickets ahead of the event.
Gospel music ministers Mercy Chinwo, Dunsin Oyekan, Sunmisola Agbebi and Kaestrings joined Eze at the gathering, leading worship sessions for the congregation.
Photos and videos from the conference circulated widely on social media, showing thousands of worshippers participating in prayers and worship inside the stadium.
Eze has built a large following through the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declaration, popularly known as NSPPD, which has become a major online prayer platform for believers. The UK conference was part of Streams of Joy International’s global outreach.
