Nollywood star Sarah Martins collapses at work

Popular Nollywood actress and entrepreneur Sarah Martins collapsed while attending to her business earlier today.
The actress shared the news on her Instagram page, explaining that she woke up feeling numb and later collapsed while handling inventory and staff interviews at her store.
Revealing the cause of her collapse, she said she had been working every day throughout December without rest—even when her staff were away for the holidays—which led to extreme exhaustion.
According to her, over 32 medical tests, including checks for cancer, liver issues, and fibroids, all came back negative. She also shared her doctor’s report, which confirmed that the incident resulted from extreme exhaustion and advised her to take proper bed rest.
She wrote, “Woke up today and couldn’t feel any part of my body. For a second, I felt lifeless. I still struggled and went to my store to do inventory and a few interviews for incoming employees, and that was when I slumped. All through December, I worked every single day. Even when my staff travelled for the season celebrations, I kept working—no days off, no breaks, nothing… just a walking corpse working tirelessly to take care of others, forgetting myself.”
Sarah Martins is currently recovering in the hospital and expressed gratitude that her vital organs were unaffected.
She is also known for her philanthropic efforts through the “Feed the Street” initiative, which provides meals for children on the streets. The programme has since expanded to feeding passers-by and interested motorists.
