Odu’a Investment Company Limited has unveiled plans to grow its total assets to N1 trillion by 2030 under its new “30 by 2030” growth strategy, while announcing a Profit Before Tax (PBT) of N23.58 billion for the 2025 financial year.

At the company’s 44th Annual General Meeting held in Ibadan, Oyo State, the Former Chairman of the company, Bimbo Ashiru, said the group’s revenue rose by 78 per cent to N20.22 billion in 2025, compared to N11.34 billion recorded in the previous year. He noted that the profit before tax represented a 410 per cent increase over the N4.62 billion posted in 2024, attributing the growth to fair value gains on investment properties and strong performance in the Nigerian stock market.

According to Ashiru, the company recorded fair value gains of N18.81 billion on investment properties during the year under review, while the bullish capital market further strengthened its earnings. He added that the financial performance reflected the successful execution of strategic initiatives designed to reposition the organisation for long-term growth.

Ashiru also announced that Agusto & Co. had upgraded Odu’a Investment’s credit rating from “A+” to “Aa-” with a stable outlook. He described the upgrade as a recognition of the company’s commitment to fiscal discipline, sound treasury management and improved corporate governance.

He further disclosed that the redeveloped Premier Hotel in Ibadan is expected to commence full operations in the fourth quarter of 2026. According to him, the facility will become one of the leading hospitality destinations in the South-West following its extensive remodelling.

Similarly, the Group Managing Director, Abdulrahman Yinusa, said the company had begun the process of obtaining its first international credit rating from a major global rating agency. He explained that the move would position the conglomerate to access international debt capital markets and attract increased foreign direct investment.

Yinusa also presented the company’s first fully consolidated financial statements, combining the financial positions of the holding company and all its subsidiaries. He said the development marked a significant milestone in strengthening transparency, accountability and corporate governance across the group.

Newly appointed Group Chairman, Tola Kasali, pledged to ensure the successful implementation of the company’s strategic roadmap, assuring shareholders of continued growth and value creation. He reaffirmed Odu’a Investment’s commitment to driving economic development across Oyo, Ogun, Osun, Ondo, Ekiti and Lagos states through strategic investments, job creation and sustainable business expansion.
