Oluremi Tinubu calls for collective action on breast cancer awareness

First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has called on Nigerians, especially women, to prioritize their health through regular self-examinations and timely medical screenings as part of activities marking the 2025 Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
In her message, the First Lady emphasized that “early detection saves lives,” urging Nigerians to join hands in raising awareness, supporting survivors, and encouraging one another to take proactive steps toward better health.
“As women, mothers, sisters, and daughters, our health must remain a priority. Early detection saves lives. Regular self-examinations and timely medical screenings are key in the fight against breast cancer,” she said.
Senator Tinubu further appealed for collective effort and compassion throughout the month, stressing the need to raise awareness, support survivors, and promote preventive healthcare across communities.
She concluded with a message of hope and solidarity:
“Let us work together to stay healthy. Happy Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2025.”
