Oluremi Tinubu donates hybrid buses to Youth Wing of CAN, assures continued support

First Lady and National Chairman of the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has reaffirmed the federal government’s commitment to empowering Nigerian youth, urging them to remain steadfast in faith, hard work, and service to humanity.
Speaking at a symbolic event held Thursday at the State House in Abuja, the First Lady presented seven 14-seater hybrid buses to the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN), fulfilling a promise made to the organization earlier this year.
“You can’t love without giving,” Mrs. Tinubu said. “As you have chosen Christ, you should be good followers of Christ indeed — always embracing truth and doing what is right and pleasing before God.”
She emphasized the importance of aligning the gesture with the second anniversary of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, describing it as a way of expressing gratitude to God for the journey so far.

“We believe today God wants us to celebrate,” she said. “Rather than just thank God privately for sustaining President Tinubu and his team, we also wanted to give. So, on behalf of RHI and out of our love for you as our children — future achievers in this nation — we hand over these vehicles to you.”
The buses will serve YOWICAN’s operations across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones and at the national secretariat, helping to support evangelism and community outreach.

Responding on behalf of YOWICAN, National Chairman Michael Enwere Belosochukwu expressed appreciation to the First Lady and RHI for the timely intervention.
“These buses will greatly reduce the logistical burdens we face during evangelism and outreach,” he said. “We thank our mother, the First Lady, for her generosity and kind heart.”
