By Boye Oyeyemi –
The Ondo State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has officially approved the reopening of St. Louis Nursery and Primary School, located in Ondo West Local Government Area.
The approval follows extensive consultations between the Ministry, the Catholic Diocese of Ondo, the school administration, and the Parents–Teachers Association (PTA).
Academic activities at the school are set to resume immediately, with the management committing to full compliance with the state’s regulations governing private schools.
Reverend Father (Dr) Omolaki, Education Secretary of the Catholic Diocese, issued a formal apology to the state government for prior breaches of regulations. He assured the Ministry that the school would implement measures to prevent any future infractions that could compromise pupils’ rights or public order.
The Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Professor Igbekele Ajibefun, emphasised the importance of continuous communication with the ministry’s zonal office to ensure strict adherence to regulatory standards.
The ministry further restated its commitment to maintaining high standards of discipline, safety, and child welfare across all schools in Ondo State.
