Oyo, French company seal deal on modern agricultural food market

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has finalized an agreement with Semmaris, a prominent French company known for managing the world’s largest wholesale fresh food market. The deal, signed in Paris, will focus on the development of a modern agricultural food market in Oyo State.
The agreement was announced by the Oyo State government in a statement on Wednesday, which was accompanied by photographs of the signing ceremony.

The statement highlighted that Governor Makinde signed the agreement on behalf of the state government, marking a major milestone in the development of the local agricultural sector.

Semmaris, a company involved in formulating Nigeria’s National Agri-food Market Development Strategy, will collaborate with Oyo State in a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing the region’s agricultural infrastructure.
The move has received positive reactions from netizens, who have praised Governor Makinde’s efforts.
