The member representing Ogo-Oluwa/Surulere Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Ojo Sunday Makanjuola, popularly known as SMATO, has restated his commitment to improving education standards within his constituency, describing education as “the strongest investment in the future.”
The lawmaker made this known on Thursday during a school materials distribution exercise carried out through the Federal College of Forestry, Ibadan, under the Federal Ministry of Environment, to selected primary and secondary schools across Ogo-Oluwa and Surulere Local Government Areas.
Makanjuola said the initiative was more than just a routine outreach but a deliberate effort to ensure that every child has the basic learning tools needed to succeed.

He expressed appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde for providing an enabling environment for education in Oyo State, and to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for giving him the platform to serve.
The federal lawmaker also commended teachers for their sacrifices and parents for their patience, urging students to make the most of the opportunity.
Hon. Makanjuola, who also serves as Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Solid Minerals, assured his constituents of continued support for policies and programmes aimed at strengthening schools, empowering youth, and fostering community development.
