Oyo police restrict movement for Ibadan North by-election

The Oyo State Police Command has announced restrictions on human and vehicular movement in Ibadan North Federal Constituency during Saturday’s by-election.
Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Adewale Osifeso, said the restriction would be enforced from midnight to 5:00 p.m. to maintain peace and order.
Roads affected include Agbarigbo–Jembewon Road, Adamasingba–Danax Intersection, Bere–Oje Road, Idi-Ape Junction, Ojoo Road Stretch, Ajibode Junction, Ijokodo–Apete Road by Customs Barracks, and Eleyele–Sango Road.
Osifeso urged residents to comply with the directive and warned that offenders would face legal action.
He also appealed to parents, guardians, and community leaders to discourage youths from engaging in violence or electoral malpractice.
