OYOSUBEB gets new Executive Secretaries

The Oyo State Government has appointed three new Executive Secretaries to the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB).

The Chairman, OYOSUBEB, Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran disclosed this during a meeting with Administrative Officers of all Local Government Universal Basic Education Authorities (LGUBEAs) at the Board’s headquarters in Ibadan.

According to Adeniran, the appointees, Dr. Kemi Adeosun, Dr. Adebola Ayegboyin and Mr. Raji Fatai were appointed by Governor Seyi Makinde to supervise the three senatorial zones under the board.

He described the appointees as accomplished educationists and good governance advocates, adding that they were appointed after passing the necessary examinations alongside the new Permanent Secretaries.

The OYOSUBEB chairman emphasised that the new appointees are experts in the Education sector having served in various capacities within the sector.

Adeniran said the new Executive Secretaries will work closely with the Board and the substantive Executive Secretary, Mrs. Olaide Ladipo, who is at the headquarters.

He urged them to ensure transparency and efficiency in the operations of their zones, to actualize the objective of OYOSUBEB of driving basic education in the State.
