PHOTO NEWS: Alao-Akala Family consoles Florence Ajimobi over daughter’s passing

The family of His Excellency, the late Otunba Dr. Christopher Adebayo Alao‑Akala paid a condolence visit on Monday to former Oyo State First Lady, Her Excellency Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, mourning the recent death of her daughter, Mrs. Bisola Kola‑Daisi (née Ajimobi).
The visit was documented in a post by Hon. Olamijuwonlo Alao‑Akala—son of the former governor and the lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North, South, and Orire Federal Constituency —on his Facebook page.

During the visit, the Alao‑Akala family expressed deep sympathy, presenting flowers and a commemorative plaque to Mrs. Ajimobi.

“In this moment of profound sorrow, we stand with you in grief, offering not just our words, but our hearts,” said Hon Alao‑Akala.

He prayed that God, in His infinite mercy, would comfort both the Ajimobi and Kola‑Daisi families and grant Bisola’s gentle soul eternal rest.

Mrs. Kola‑Daisi, aged 42, passed away on April 7, 2025, after a brief illness. A devoted mother of three and active philanthropist, she was widely respected for her community outreach work in Ibadan.

Her sudden collapse at home prompted an emergency hospital admission, but she succumbed to complications related to acute cardiac arrest.
