Former Governor of Osun State and founding Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Chief Bisi Akande, along with several traditional rulers, visited Abolarin College in Oke Ila, Osun State, on Saturday to interact with and inspire the students.

Established to provide free education by the Orangun of Oke Ila, Oba Adedokun Abolarin, the school has become a center for character development and academic excellence.

Oba Abolarin shared pictures of the visit on his social media, writing:

“Saturday, March 29, 2025, was indeed a beautiful day, filled with promise and inspiration. Taking our Igbomina children from Kwara and Osun States to Abolarin College in Ila Orangun to meet influential Igbomina monarchs from both states was a remarkable experience. The opportunity to meet Chief Adebisi Akande, a proud Igbomina and former Governor of Osun State, was undoubtedly a highlight. His stature as a national treasure and close confidant of Mr. President, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, made the encounter even more special.

“As we continue to nurture and empower our Abolarin College children, we are not only shaping their future but also contributing to the growth and development of our nation, Nigeria. Our dedication to their education and exposure to influential leaders is a testament to our commitment to creating a brighter future for Nigeria.

“The legislative agenda that brought us all together in Ila Orangun is a significant step toward creating positive change. It is heartening to see community leaders and stakeholders working together towards a common goal. As we continue on this journey, it is important to remember that the future of our nation is indeed bright, and with dedicated individuals across Nigeria, we can overcome our present challenges and build a better tomorrow.”

“May yesterday’s experience serve as a catalyst for greater things to come, and may our Abolarin College children continue to thrive and make a positive impact in our world,” he concluded.
