Speaking on the significance of the summit, Afolayan said the event highlighted the untapped potential of Nigeria’s tourism landscape and strengthened the connection between government-backed tourism projects and potential investors.

He also emphasized that the KAP Film Village and Resort, located in Igbojaye, Oyo State, has evolved from a quiet vision into one of Nigeria’s most celebrated cultural and tourism destinations, driving local investment and preserving African heritage.

The filmmaker praised the Oyo State Government, led by Governor Seyi Makinde, the Ministry of Tourism, and other stakeholders for their continued support of initiatives that promote sustainable tourism and creative industry growth.

Afolayan encouraged Nigerians to explore local destinations like KAP Film Village, which he described as a peaceful, art-inspired getaway that offers both cultural immersion and relaxation without the need to travel abroad.
