PHOTO NEWS: Makinde presents staff of office to new Eleruwa of Eruwa

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has officially presented the staff and instruments of office to His Royal Majesty, Oba Samuel Adebayo Adegbola, as the Eleruwa of Eruwa.

Announcing the development on his X page on Thursday, Makinde stated that the monarch’s selection followed due process, with the kingmakers nominating him for the revered position.

“As I said in my remarks during the presentation, Kabiyesi was nominated by the kingmakers, and all we have done is to endorse that nomination,” the governor wrote.

Makinde reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to preserving and supporting traditional institutions in the state, expressing his wishes for a prosperous and impactful reign for Oba Adegbola.

“May Kabiyesi’s reign be prosperous and long, and may the good people of Eruwa benefit from his rulership,” he added.
